Sunshine Coast Kids in Action 2014 Conference

Council and local environment groups will host an event to inspire the region?s future environmental leaders and cultivate a culture of sustainability.

Kids in Action promotes Kids Teaching Kids as an effective form of creating cultural change in the way the community views and uses the natural environment. The Kids in Action program is for school students in years five through to nine. As part of Kids Teaching Kids Week, council is collaborating with local environment groups to inspire the region?s future environmental leaders. Young delegates will teach each other about the conference themes: biodiversity threatened species waterways sustainability cultural heritage.
