Meet Local Author Maggie Christensen

Meet Maggie Christensen, local author of Band of Gold and The Sand Dollar and Friend of Noosaville Library. Born and brought up in Scotland, and attracted by advertisements to ‘Come and Teach in the Sun’, Maggie emigrated to Australia in her twenties to teach in Sydney. After spending many years in teaching, lecturing and education management, she began writing the sort of books she enjoys reading, books about women in their prime, their issues and relationships.
