Noosa Chorale presents Rossini's Petite Messe Solennelle

The massed choir of Noosa Chorale, combined with four award-winning vocal soloists, bring Rossini, the great Italian opera composer, to The J Theatre this May.  His epic masterpiece “The Little Solemn Mass” is in fact neither small, nor especially solemn.  It is a grand masterpiece ranging from a hushed lyrical intensity to an animated, boisterous and high spirited flamboyance and rhythmic vitality.   It’s on Saturday 28 May at 2pm.  Book tickets online at thej.com.au
