URBAN MYTHS explores music of celebrated Australian composers Westlake and Twist alongside finest music of Shostakovich and Oscar winning composer Nino Rota 

The Strelitzia Ensemble presents Urban Myths - a look at four very different works from the past seventy years, distinct in their own soundscape and poignant of their time. 

We delve into the music of Academy Award winning Italian composer, Nino Rota, celebrate the great music and local talent of Australian composers Nigel Westlake and Joseph Twist and reflect on the unspeakable horror of war as reflected in Shostakovich's great Piano Trio, op.67.
