Yateley House has always been about love.  Originally built in 1881 by George Tweedie for his young fiancé, the house eventually fell into disrepair from the 1950's.  Peter and Pauline Duggan, first fell in love with the gorgeous historic home when they moved to Braidwood in 1968, however waited till 1991 to purchase Yately. They spent the many years restoring the historic property to its present, beautiful, condition.  The present owner Sonja Charles, continues this tradition by creating Yately House B&B.  
Built for love at the start of a marriage and lovingly restored in the twilight of a marriage - what better place to spend your Valentine's Day.

Yateley House invites you to join us at our exclusive high tea on Sunday 14th February.  Indulge in the finest products sourced locally and within the region, complimentary champagne, enjoy the virtuosic musicians who make up The String Contingent and the wonderful atmosphere of a house that resonates with love.  There is the choice of the picnic hamper in an intimate spot within the lush gardens surrounding the home or you can choose the spacious veranda.  Both options can be accommodated within doors if weather is inclement.  You also have the chance to win one night's accommodation for two in the beautiful historic home!
