More about the movies:

DIRTY DANCING (M)

Set to the pulsating rock n roll songs of the early '60s, DIRTY DANCING is a romantic story about an awkward yet endearing 17 year old Baby (Jennifer Grey) who slips into womanhood during an eye-opening family vacation at a Catskill lodge in the summer of 1963. Caught up in the music and rhythm of the time, she falls in love with a charismatic working-class dance instructor Johnny Castle (Patrick Swayze) who introduces her to 'Dirty Dancing'.

STRICTLY BALLROOM (PG)

Scott Hastings (Paul Mercurio) is a champion ballroom dancer, but much to the chagrin of the Australian ballroom dance community, Scott believes in dancing "his own steps". Fran (Tara Morice) is a less experienced dancer and a bit of an ugly duckly who has the audacity to ask to be Scott's partner after his unorthodox style causes his regular partner to dance out of his life. Together, these two misfits try to win the Australian Pan Pacific Championships and show the Ballroom Confederation that they are wrong when they say, "there are no new steps!"
