Fine Art Experience 2019

An Exhibition of Fine Art by the Caloundra Arts Centre Association members including: watercolour, acrylic, oil, pastel arts and mixed media being held on Saturday, 31 September and Sunday,1 September.  The two-day exhibition will be open from 9am to 9pm on Saturday and 9am to 4pm on Sunday. Entry is free.

The exhibition is arranged with mini galleries of each artist’s work – allowing visitors to gain an appreciation of the artist’s style and breadth of work. Every hour there will be an artist conducting a walking tour of the exhibition. Overlooking the exhibition, two ‘artist in residence’ will be working on their latest work. Each morning a member of the CACA Management Team will talk about the history of the Caloundra Arts Centre Association and our plans for the future – an organisation that provides facilities for over 560 artisans. 

Just moments from Caloundra beaches, over 60 local artists meet weekly at the Centre to collaborate on watercolour, acrylic, oil and pastel artwork. These artists work cooperatively, assisting each other with subject matter, design ideas, colour harmonies, focal points

All of the artwork at the exhibition is available for sale.  There are three different rooms to explore with over 250 paintings to choose from: realistic art, traditional, impressionistic as well as abstract are represented. Each piece is an original work of art by one of the members.  Many of the pieces depict Sunshine Coast scenes with views from the artist’s overseas holidays also.
