"Transforming Problems" BUDDHIST RETREAT

As part of his AUSTRALIA INNER PEACE AND HARMONY BUDDHIST TOUR 2018, Venerable Lobsang Namgyel will be providing a 4-DAY RESIDENTIAL RETREAT at BELLBUNYA ECO-VILLAGE.

VENERABLE NAMGYEL, a senior western monk in the Tibetan tradition, has studied and taught Buddhism internationally for over 30 years. Venerable's own teachers include His Holiness the Dalai Lama and Lama Zopa Rinpoche.

This 4-day retreat on LOJONG - meaning "mind transformation" - is suitable for beginner to intermediate level students and will help participants to:

• enhance compassion
• cultivate balanced attitudes towards oneself and others
• develop positive ways of thinking
• transform adverse situations into conditions conducive to spiritual development

With his clear, warm and engaging style of teaching, VENERABLE NAMGYEL skilfully guides his students in applying Buddhist wisdom to daily life. This residential retreat on LOJONG will incorporate teachings on the LAM RIM.

The fee of $575 covers your 3-night accommodation in shared rooms (most are twin share) with ensuite toilets, all meals at Bellbunya, facility fee, teachings, guided meditations and course materials.

Participants are invited to arrive and settle in as early as 3pm on the first day of the retreat, the 20th Sept. The first session of the retreat will commence at 5pm on 20 Sept and the retreat will finish at 3pm on 23 Sept.
