Ferny Hills Picnic in the Park

Pack your picnic blanket and treat Nan and Pop to a morning of mouth-watering food, live music and kids rides and activities at the 2018 Ferny Hills Picnic in the Park on Sunday, 28 October.

Running 9am to 12noon at George Willmore Park, join Moreton Bay Regional Council for a morning of family fun celebrating National Grandparents Day.

Make them a special present with free arts and crafts, or challenge them to a game of giant jenga, ten pin bowling or a jumbo egg & spoon race.

There will also be a free cuddly animal farm, $2 carnival rides plus market stalls and plenty of information about local services and providers in the area.

And don’t forget to pack your picnic rug and tuck into some of Brisbane’s best food trucks serving up everything from delicious coffee and beverages to mouth-watering waffles, crepes and more. Plus everyone’s favourite Aussie sausage sizzle by the Arana Hills SES.

Ferny Hills Picnic in the Park is a free event presented by Moreton Bay Regional Council and proudly supported by Councillor Matt Constance.
