From the Musical Master of Laughs, Glynn Nicholas (Eurobeat, Kissing Frogs , Certified Male,Big Gig) comes the stage party event of the year – where eleven countries battle it out to win your hearts, minds and votes. Inevitably to be confused with the real thing, except you only have to get to the Alex Theatre in St Kilda for the experience.

Comedian Bev Killick will host the show and she hosts Sweden, Norway, Greece, Germany, Hungary, Russia, Poland, Iceland, Italy, United Kingdom and Ireland.

Song Contest - the Almost Eurovision Experience features a stellar cast in outlandish costumes, performing wind-blown power ballads, pretty boy pop and soulful groove tunes (and possibly one every so slightly shrill ballad). The lighting and sets are slick and the choreography will excite the die-hard Eurovision fans and lure new ones into the drama, the music and the comedy as they engage in this new theatre production.

Much loved Bettina Bitjakokov (played by comedian Bev Killic) is responsible to the show the world that Minsk has what it takes to put on a world class event. There will be some hysterical antics and cameo guest apperances, you can be certain that something will go a little wrong back-stage.
