Bonsai for Beginners Course

Learn how to cultivate your own Bonsai tree learning from an acclaimed Bonsai artist. You will receive your very own Bonsai Tree to take home.

The art of Bonsai is a beautiful and mystical tradition originally from China which today we identify as a Japanese art form and practice. Bonsai is the cultivation of specific tree species in small beautiful pots. The purpose of Bonsai is contemplation from the viewer if you have ever seen a Bonsai it certainly is a beautiful sight and one that leaves you thinking 'how did they do that' and for the grower a peaceful and artistic past time that requires taught skill.

In a modern sense garden and plant enthusiasts have been drawn to the art of Bonsai as you don't need a garden to cultivate these beautiful treasures.

The below topics are intended to be covered in the course with an element of flexibility to suit the needs of the class.
