Golf for Juniors - 6 - 11 Years

Our focus in this age group is on the physical aspects of movement (Speed and Athletic development) and the basics of golf. This course is for those that are absolute beginners and have no official Club handicap.

At the Sunshine Coast Golf Academy and Horton Park Golf we engender Junior Golf. We continue to produce champions and introduce skills for life.

Studies have proven that many great sports people have played a variety of sports as young people. Basic motor skills are a pre-requisite to becoming a successful athlete.

Our Director of Instruction, Di Pavich will take you through all facets of the game.

Topics include

• Knowledge of equipment.
• Grip and set up.
• Introduction to the full swing.
• Introduction to the short game. Putting, Chipping, Pitching and Bunkers..
• Etiquette and terminology..
