Spanish for Travellers 

¡hola (hello) we look forward to welcoming you to the Spanish for Beginners course. Taking on a Spanish course is firstly lots of fun and secondly as important as travel insurance its something you just need to have in your 'travel kit'. Being able to communicate even if at a basic level will ensure you have an easier and more rewarding trip.

Did you know that Spanish is the 4th most commonly spoken language and is becoming of greater importance in Europe where it is often the second language of choice alongside French. Since Spanish is a Latin language the same as English you may find it easier to develop your skills as both languages have Indo-European roots.

One of the great things about Spanish for beginners is the fact that written Spanish is almost completely phonetic meaning you can read a word and know how it is going to be pronounced. The grammar is a bit trickier but that comes later down the track if you choose to progress your new found Spanish skills with our progressive courses. 

This course is an introduction to the Spanish language and is for absolute beginners. You will learn the basics required to make your holiday more enjoyable or give you a taste tester for pursuing more intensive Spanish language courses, which the college will be providing in 2014.
