TWILIGHT MARKETS RETURN FOR 2013

The Twilight Markets at Bulcock Beach in Caloundra are on again this year, with two markets planned as part of the Fringe Festival, and another 8 markets that will take place over the Christmas holiday season in December and January.  The Esplanade will come to life on Friday nights.

For the first time ever, the September 27th Market will feature the Fringe Festival launch showcasing elements of the annual week-long festival.

“We will also have some special surprises in store for market visitors,” says Market Manager Jade Baker. 

The Busking Festival will be in full swing during the September 27th and October 4th markets, entertaining visitors with musical performances by the finalists participating in this great competition. You might just see the next rising star right here in Caloundra!

“Twilight Markets are a special event in Caloundra that only happen in holiday season, so don’t miss the chance to come down and enjoy it while it’s here,” encourages Ms Baker.

Featuring handmade crafts, art, fashion, jewellery, food, live music and entertainment, this family-friendly event is a must-do for locals and visitors alike. The market is set amongst a range of waterfront eateries and retailers who all trade till late ensuring a lively and vibrant market precinct.

Bulcock Beach is a lovely part of the Sunshine Coast to enjoy in spring and summer. As the sun sets over the water, the scene is picturesque with the water lapping, the foreshore buzzing with people and the market stalls and retailers providing a hum.
