Christmas in Cooroy

Christmas in Cooroy is a free fun family event, with a Santa race, street parade, free rides, entertainment and fireworks hosted by the Cooroy Chamber of Commerce and the Rotary Club of Cooroy.

On the Friday night it's the official turning on of the town's Christmas lights and a photographic competition awards ceremony.

Saturday's program starts with a Poet's Breakfast at Cooroy Hotel at 8am. Then from 4pm in Apex Park, there are free rides and entertainment from the Hinterland Christian Centre Choir.

The Great Santa Race is at 4.30pm and the street parade is from 5pm. Santa drops in for a visit from 6pm and the fireworks show starts at 7.15pm. The free rides continue through till 8pm and there's live entertainment until 10pm.
