Free hearing education and assessments at Pelican Waters Pharmacy.

Concerned about your hearing? With 60 per cent of 60 year olds and 70 per cent of 70 year olds experiencing hearing loss, it is a common issue among older Australians.

Australian Hearing will be offering free hearing screenings and educations sessions at Pelican Waters Pharmacy on 7th November from 2pm.

As the largest hearing provider in Australia, with a reputation for innovation and high quality hearing care, Australian Hearing services are free or subsidised by the Government for many Australian aged pensioners and veterans.

Australian Hearing recommends you get your hearing checked every two years if you are aged over 60. As hearing loss is a gradual process, seniors often do not recognise that they have a hearing loss until it becomes a problem or until it affects their daily activities, such as listening to the radio, answering the telephone or in social situations.

If you or someone you know is worried about hearing loss, get your hearing checked for free from Australian Hearing on 7th November at Pelican Waters Pharmacy.

Australian Hearing has over 100 centres, including a number across the Sunshine Coast region.
