Scar Stories exhibits at Life Art Worldwide Expo

Scar Stories is a travelling group exhibition, featuring portraits of cancer survivors and their scars. The events raise money for CanTeen - a not-for-profit organisation dedicated to assisting young people living with cancer.

With successful exhibitions in Brisbane and Melbourne, Scar Stories is now exhibiting on the Sunshine Coast at the art expo Life Art Worldwide.

Scar Stories has been sponsored to be part of this event by Red Dirt Productions, and is extremely lucky to have two of the photographers entered in the Art prize valued at $25,000 - the biggest international art prize in the Southern Hemisphere.

The winners will be announced at the closing awards ceremony on Saturday at 2pm, with festivities such as seminars, films, performances, and family fun from 10am.

The expo is a free event, with money from Scar Stories raffles and sales going towards helping people live through cancer.
