Arty Pants Kid’s Festival 2013 An interactive family fun day to discover and explore the creative performing and visual arts!

After another successful festival last year the Centre is looking forward to delivering an interactive family fun day to allow parents to engage with their children (aged 4 to 10) one on one in the discovery & exploration of the creative, performing & visual arts.

This year’s Arty Pants Kid’s Festival will include headlining act Peter Pan with a Christmas performance. Join Peter Pan and Tinkerbell on an adventure to save Christmas and Neverland from the clutches of Hook and his goofy pirates. There will also be an appearance from Santa himself, and other various roving entertainers.

This year’s festival theme is a celebration of “Australian Christmas.” A children’s art competition will run in the lead up to the Festival with the winner being announced on the day by attendees.

Arty Pants Kid’s Festival was born when a gap within the children’s performing arts market was discovered.  Arty Pants Kid’s Festival aims at providing the community with an event for children and their families that allows all creative minds to be expressed in a fun and positive manner, while also encouraging family participation. Arty Pants Kid’s Festival is dedicated to introducing children aged 4 – 10 years old to aspects of the performing arts industry never experienced before such as theatre and dance.

With live performances, arts and crafts activities, workshops, a free sausage sizzle and more, this day is jam packed with school holiday fun!
