Caboolture Show & Rodeo - 2015

The show is rolling back into town in June! All the traditional attractions will be there including show jumping, tent pegging, a massive rodeo along with cattle, goats, poultry and birds plus a world class dog show featuring some Australian and international champions.

All the fun of the fair can be had in Side Show Ally in full swing with rides, games and entertainment galore. Everything from dodgems, the ferris wheel, laughing clowns, shooting galleries, jumping castles and the big rides will be there for your enjoyment. 

A full range of food will be available from old favorites such as Dagwood Dogs and Fairy Floss to healthy alternatives from a full range of vendors as well as hearty sit down country style meals available in the dining hall. The Apex Bar will also be operating for the duration of the show.

Entertainment will abound both in the ring and around the grounds. The night ring program will feature the ever popular Monster Trucks, jet quad runs as well as the rollover trucks and a trotting program. The night ring program will also feature a wood chop event with over $2000 in prize money that will attract the very best axmen in the country. During the day we will have an extensive horse program in the ring along with cattle judging and of course our grand parade.

Out of the ring the entertainment won’t stop, there will be the petting zoo, balloon animals for the kids from our troupe of roving entertainers plus displays by the vintage machinery club, scouts, army and naval cadets and others. On the stage we will have a variety of acts from bands, highland dancers, cheerleaders etc.  Of course there will be plenty of trade displays with many local businesses putting on some very special show day deals just for you!

Don’t forget to check out the many exhibit classes such as the schoolwork, hobbies, gemstones, cooking and sewing, floral and horticulture, art, fruit and veg and our large and ever popular photographic sections. Did you know our fish section attracts exhibitors from as far away as the US and Japan? Our honey section is the largest in SEQ, larger than the RNA!

In addition to all fun of the show Saturday sees our monster Rodeo take center stage in the Indoor Arena. A full selection of both horse and cattle events will be run including juniors. Whether you are an old rodeo hand or seeing one for the first time there will be something here for you. A full bar and food will be available right next to the arena.
