PACES BIO:

I am so into this. SO. INTO. THIS. Nina Las Vegas

I played a show with this fella a few months back, he was playing as I walked in and I still remember the vibe he had going, it was something else – everyone was going off! His originals are awesome, with a massive catalogue to back him up.” Yahtzel

Mikey Perry, aka Paces, has been a busy guy. Whether he's being named as an artist Set to own 2014 by inthemix; receiving national airplay love on triple j; producing tracks for Tkay Maidza’s upcoming EP; remixing the likes of Safia, Kilter, Danny T, Rattraps, Sietta, Parachute Youth, YesYou and Sampology; supporting beat-maker extraordinaires Lunice, Ryan Hemsworth, Kaytranada, Djemba Djemba and Mr Carmack; or having his bootlegs regularly receive over 20,000 plays on Soundcloud, he certainly shows no signs of slowing down.

Paces sound is truly unique. Mixing influences from Jersey Club, Future Beats, and Garage, he’s crafted a style which is undeniably his own but could sit at home amongst any of his musical idols. Think Cashmere Cat, Ta-Ku, Branchez etc.

In 2013 his debut EP THE PACT was released on Kastles' visionary US label Symbols (their first ever Australian release). Then early 2014 saw the release of JULIAN on much hyped label DIEHIGH. This was met with plays on Triple J, XFM in London, George FM in New Zealand, a successful national live tour, and great blog coverage.

Now with the imminent release of CAN’T TOUCH ME, via DIEHIGH, the future for Paces is looking crazier by the day!
