If you have been lucky enough to see KNiKi and Mike perform our club you wont want to miss their next performance. Sought after throughout Australia by Festivals and music venues, KNiKi and Mike's stage presence is larger than life and has an instantly identifiable and energetic delivery.
The past 4 years have seen this dynamic pair tour both nationally, gracing the stages of most of Australia’s major festivals, Local Qld festival appearances include, The Gympie Muster, Blues on Broadbeach, The Sunshine Coast blues festival, The Mitchell Creek Rock n Blues Festival, The Cairns Blues Festival.
The pair have also performed internationally, sharing festival stages with the likes of legendary and current Grammy winner, Amercian bluesman Charlie Musselwhite.
The pair will be heading off later this year to Tour India and Nepal having been invited to play at several festivals.
Recent musical successes have also seen their songs featured in motion pictures, and both the band and their songwriting nominated for several national music awards.
Originally the band was signed in 2011 to the prestigious Chicago based USA label Hightone music.
But after selling out 2 print runs on their debut cd Dead On, no mean feat for an indi band, the pair decided to part company with their american label, to gain more creative (and financial) control, and formed their own record company, Moody Cow Records.
2014 saw Moody Cow Records release the self-titled :
‘KNiKi + Mike Beale Project’
Mike's Vocals and guitar playing take you on a journey of his influences from Led Zeppelin to Robben Ford and Eric Clapton managing to wring out more emotion and range than you may have ever thought possible on an acoustic guitar....and when he picks up the electric guitar hold onto your glasses as he will shake them clear loose off the table ..
KNiKi delivers a powerhouse of vocals, from soft sweets colours  to tearing the house down, her major influences ranging from the quiet beauty of Norah Jones to the raucus delivery of Janis Joplin and Etta James  .. She is different captivating and entertaining
