Bribie Island is hosting a very important expo on Saturday 11th October as we head into storm, bushfire and holiday season. A free Combined Emergency Services Expo will be held at the VMR Bribie Island Base from 10am to 4pm and will have rescue displays and demonstrations as well as lots of fun family activities.
The first of its kind, this Expo will demonstrate to the community the latest and greatest in marine rescue, firefighting and policing technologies.
Bring the whole family and get up close to a fire truck, water cannon, marine rescue boats, and lots of other high-tech rescue equipment. Meet local fire fighters, police, ambulance officers, marine rescue, SES and Red Cross volunteers and many more!
Free kids activities! Kids activities will be on offer including a jumping castle, stalls, food, free giveaways and plenty of emergency services personnel on hand to answer your questions.
