Hosted  by Buderim Lions, Buderim Craft Cottage, and Buderim Library, this huge fair is one of the best places to shop for unique Christmas gifts, especially hand-crafted items which are a little “out-of the ordinary”.

The Fair has been run annually at the same venue for many years and has become a major fund-raising event for local community groups.

Buderim Craft Cottage opens its doors on Friday 28th November from 2.00pm until 6pm and again on Saturday 29th from 8am to 2.30pm. The entire Cottage will be filled with artisan crafts and art, all designed and made by its 300 plus members, and including art, pottery, calligraphy, fine needlework and embroidery, patchwork, jewellery, wearable fashion, funky knitted items, decorated fine porcelain, and some unusual Christmas novelties.

On Saturday 29th,  the Craft Cottage  displays will be joined by about 70 “market” stalls set up by community groups and private traders in and around the Buderim War Memorial Hall, right next door to the Cottage.  On sale will be a huge range of items including unique gifts for loved ones including loved pets, fantastic gourmet treats by some of Buderim’s best cooks, home decor items, fashion, plants, and craft work.

Buderim Library, also located in the War Memorial Hall, will be selling “pre-loved” books at bargain prices.

The Fair will provide a fun family day out as well as a terrific pre-Christmas shopping opportunity. Refreshments will be available at both the Cottage and the Memorial Hall
