St Patrick's Day Celebrations

Do you have the luck of the Irish? Do you carry a four-leaf-clover?
It’s time to “Get your green on,” for St Patrick’s Day celebrations this Saturday (14 March) and spin the wheel at the Mad Butcher stall at The Big Pineapple Markets at 76 Nambour-Connection Road Nambour between 6.30am and 1pm.

All the Mad Butcher crew will wear green hats and give away prizes through their lucky wheel this Saturday 14 March. Meat lovers who spin the wheel will have the opportunity to win their meat order for free, or receive discounts ranging from 10 to 50% depending on where the wheel ball lands.  They have free range and organic meat, butterflied lamb, Black Angus eye fillet and rumps, diced goat and porterhouse steak and bulk buy packs.

Please wear green accessories like a scarf or hat, or green shamrock pin (four leaf clover) to get into the spirit of St Patrick’s Day with all the market stallholders having “green fever.” St Patrick is the patron saint of Ireland who drove out all the snakes. 

Other fun activities for St Patrick’s Day celebrations will include a jumping castle, face painting, pineapple parfaits, French crepes, fresh fruit juices and farmers’ produce. Visitors can also enjoy cool breezes on the large, pram-friendly deck, overlooking the pineapple plantation. 

The undercover Saturday markets are held from 6.30am to 1pm during the summer months and from 6.30am to 2pm in the cooler months of the year. There is plenty of parking.
