Business owners, managers and employees are invited to attend a one-day workshop on 15 November to learn practical techniques to overcome the pressures of modern work life.
The Mindfully Boosting Your Energy at Work workshop is being led by corporate mindfulness trainer Lindel Greggery and is open to individuals who feel stressed and lacking in vitality due to constantly juggling commitments at work and at home.
The one-day workshop is evidence-based and work-focussed and will teach a simple mindfulness practice and practical mindful techniques that can be applied in any work setting to bring more calm and clarity.
A large number of peer-reviewed studies have shown that corporate mindfulness training not only reduces stress but also enhances performance at work by increasing the ability to focus on the task at hand.
The secular (non-religious) workshop will give participants easy to apply tools to better manage their mental and physical energy and feel more engaged and energised at work and at home.
Topics include how to sleep better and how to eat mindfully and overcome the energy rollercoaster that comes from skipping meals or giving in to mid-afternoon sugar cravings.
The workshop will also provide mental strategies to mindfully manage change and stop struggling with things that are out of your control at work.
Bookings are essential and the workshop investment is $149 or 10% less for concession card holders.
