New Year’s Eve Mooloolaba attracts over 40,000 local residents and visitors to welcome in the New Year.

 

The event will be held along Mooloolaba Esplanade on Wednesday 31 December from 4.00 pm to midnight.

 

The Sunshine Coast is the place to be with a feast of entertainment to suit all ages and tastes including:

- live music on the main stage

- energetic DJ sets on the beach stage

- carnival rides and buskers

- roving and street entertainment

- temporary tattoos

- children’s face painting and activities

- food stalls and amusements

- two spectacular fireworks displays (8.30 pm and midnight).

 

This event is a safe, secure, fully fenced, alcohol and glass free zone.

There will be amplified music and fireworks at this event, so pet owners in the area should ensure pets are safe and secure.
