Join us at the official opening for a cultural feast of stories, traditional food, music and art.

Lyndon Davis will perform a Welcome to Country and smoking ceremony. Collection owner Adrian Newstead will conduct an exclusive guided exhibition tour, followed by an informative talk highlighting the ten most important Aboriginal artists of the Australian Aboriginal art movement.

Music and cultural storytelling will also be performed by Alister Bartholomew. Who will perform a mix of traditional songs from the Torres Strait including storytelling, interactive Torres Strait song and dance performances and demonstrate the use of cultural artefacts (drum and kulap).
