Cooroora Wood and Craft Show

The Cooroora Woodworkers Club (CWC) will be presenting their 27th annual Wood and Craft Show on Friday 6 and Saturday 7 May.  This year the show will be held at  CWC Clubhouse situated at 8 Lowermill Road, Cooroy.

The key feature of the show will be a huge display of entries in the Interclub, School Student and CWC Member competitions.  There will also be many other attractions at the show to cater for a wide range of interests including woodworking demonstrations in cabinetry, wood turning, scrollsaw work and carving.  The Clubs’ milling team will have a portable mill set-up onsite and will be milling logs and dried and green slabs and lumber will be available for purchase.

A regular draw card is Dave’s Rustic Furniture and visitors will be able to see Dave making his unique rustic furniture and there will be some pieces available for purchase.

Another show favourite is the main raffle which this year has the prize of a beautifully handcrafted Victorian Rocking Horse valued at $4,000.  The winner of this great prize will be drawn on Saturday around 3pm.

There will also be quality hand crafted items for sale made by CWC members and these will make great gifts for Mother Day (Sunday 8 May). Items will include salad and fruit bowls, platters, cheese boards, artwork, toys and pens.

Food and drinks will also be available for purchase.
