Queensland Ballet Dance Camp

Queensland Ballet is visiting the Sunshine Coast  in June to run a 4 day school holiday Dance Camp for children and young people aged between 5 – 16 years.

With the aim of encouraging interest in dance and reinforcing the diverse technical and expressive skills of dance students in Regional Queensland, this is a great opportunity for students to access the expertise of their State’s most prestigious ballet company.  

A junior program catering for students aged 5-10 years and a senior program catering for students aged 11-16 years will be run over the 4 days, with workshops in ballet, production, wardrobe and contemporary dance. The final afternoon will conclude with a casual but intimate celebratory event giving students the opportunity to share new skills with family and friends.

Students are encouraged to bring their own lunch, as no lunch is provided. The venue café will be open which will have available for sale a selection of hot and cold drinks and snacks.

Monday 27 – Thursday 30 June  9am – 3pm daily

Cost $130 per student 

Each participant will receive a Queensland Ballet t-shirt, so please indicate your preferred size at the time of booking.
