SCYC Sunday afternoon sailing

The Sunshine Coast Yacht Club (SCYC) welcomes everyone- from experienced sailors to beginners, and those who may be just visiting and would like an afternoon on the water. 

Join the Club as a casual member entitling you to 3 sails for just $30-, at a world class sailing venue in Mooloolaba. Friendly sailing and competitive racing and great social gatherings at The Yacht Club.

Just come to our Clubroom (to the left of the main restaurant building at Mooloolaba Marina, 33 Parkyn Parade). 

Our SAMS Series is held on Sundays - Please be at the Clubroom between 10:30 and 11:00 am for sign on. Race commences at 12.00 noon.
Our WAMS series is held on Wednesdays - Please be at the Clubroom between 11:30 am and 12 noon for sign on.

Please wear closed in shoes (so as not to jam precious toes on fittings), with non-marking soles (to keep those shiny decks gleaming), water, sunscreen, hat, warm clothing (can be cool in the breeze even on a hot day) & something to eat. You may get wet- from above or from over the side- so if you have spray jackets or wet weather gear that may be useful too, depending on the weather & conditions.

Oh- and don't forget your camera! Dolphins & turtles are seen year round and of course the mighty humpback whates from June to October.
