A Surreal Black Comedy By Sabrina D'Angelo and David McLaughlin.
Friday 18 January @ 8pm.
Saturday 19 January @ 8pm.
Medusa. Femme fatale, whose beauty made men much harder than they'd like. The original nasty woman. For thousands of years, the story of Medusa has fascinated and terrified readers. From award-winning theatre-maker Sabrina D'Angelo comes a surreal black comedy about one character's wild journey through time and into the unreliable, paradoxical and weird history of herself.
ABOUT THE ARTIST:
Sabrina D'Angelo is an award-winning artist who creates shows that mash together physical comedy, mime, puppetry and music to form a zesty cocktail of wonder and stupidity. She has been described as 'Kate Bush meets Mr. Bean', and is often seen playing with a bumbag. Recent credits include the smash hit immersive theatre work All of My Friends Were There (Melbourne International Arts Festival 2017), Why Do I Dream? (Winner - Best Comedy, NZ Fringe 2014), 69S (Phantom Limb Company, Brooklyn Academy of Music, NYC). Sabrina also works as a Clown Doctor in children's hospitals across Sydney.
