"Permaculture Design Certificate" (PDC) course

Noosa Forest Retreat on Australia’s beautiful Sunshine Coast offers the standard “Permaculture Design Certificate” (PDC) curriculum as created by Bill Mollison and David Holmgren.  This is a globally recognised education course on sustainable living design.

Included is valuable hands on practical exercises plus experience with permaculture principles and systems including - animal systems, super compost making, swale design and implementation for water harvesting and food forest establishment.  The course is well suited to anyone interested in sustainability, organic food growing, natural farming, community living, holistic + healthy living, self-sufficiency & more.  The course is also suitable to support professional development.

Noosa Forest Retreat is a tropical 160 acre property with 4 houses in the Noosa Hinterland on the Sunshine Coast, Australia.  The property is home to 9 full time residents and backs onto the Woondum National Park.  It rises to an elevation of 420 meters with the highest house site on the Sunshine Coast. Noosa Forest Retreat is one of the largest and longest running permaculture demonstration and education centres in Queensland, Australia. 

Course cost: Early bird = $1495.  Accommodation & food (catered organic & vegetarian meals) for a small fee.
