The Maroochy Jazz and Blues Collective are holding their next Jazz N Blues Sunday Session @ the Old Soul Lounge Bar on the 3rd November.

Featuring Barry Charles and his band . . .

Barry is not just another singer, he is a man with an extraordinary voice. Regarded as one of the most innovative vocalists around today, he exhibits his five octave range with powerful textures of tone and emotion.

Renowned as a singer and songwriter, Barry mixes it up – from Tom Waits to Buddy Guy to BB King, Cocker to Cohen in a seamless set of soulful blues and jazz classics and his own originals. Well known for performing sincere ballads of selected covers, respectfully stamping them as his own, his original songs are also noteworthy as capsules of life and love.

Barry’s band comprises of some other local heroes in the indomitable Peter ‘awesome’ Wells – guitar, Parris Macleod – piano, Greg Hose – bass and Duncan Macqueen – drums.

The doors of Ocean St will open at 1.00pm, with music from 2.00 - 4.30pm. Tickets Adults $24.00 Seniors $21.00
