Playing the Game - Adult Theatre Program

Have you always wanted to try out a theatre program but never had the chance or didn't want to commit to an entire course? This event is for you! Regardless of experience or age, join in and explore your theatrical self in a safe and encouraging space, right here on the Sunshine Coast.

- Adult Theatre Program -

Theatre Express programs draw on the unique and extensive experience of TE facilitators. This workshop will cover Applied Theatre, Physical Theatre & Improvisation and will end in an optional group performance to family, friends and community. This is a program that will leave you feeling reinvigorated and ready to take on the world! Our facilitators are trained in Applied Theatre and have toured the world delivering workshops to communities and directed unique performance art pieces at international events.

- What to Expect -

Expect a challenging, safe and encouraging environment where you can learn to thrive in everyday life through the lessons learned in the theatre space! Expect to learn the basics of Applied Theatre, become familiar with improvisation and physical theatre techniques and learn to write and produce your own performance art piece.

Where will this event be held?

This season's Adult Theatre program will be held in Maroochydore. The exact location will be confirmed closer to the time and will be chosen based on accessibility & parking.

What days and times will classes be held?

This program will be held every Sunday 10:30am - 12:30pm from 28th June to 2nd August 2020. Registration covers attendance for all 6 sessions.
