The Harbourside Gallery, situated at the Noosa Marina in Tewantin,  is a gallery with passion to promote local art and artworkers. Dedicated to supporting the visual arts within the local community, the Gallery provides a venue for local artists to display and sell an eclectic array of two and three dimensional artworks  in pleasant and spacious surroundings.

The Gallery is organised and staffed by volunteers and is self sufficient.

At present the Gallery has 30 permanent and talented artists whose works portray a variety of  techniques and art and craft products.   Artworks are changed frequently and include all the painting media, indigenous work, canvas prints, photography, handmade books, collographs, jewellery and sculptures in many materials.

In order to help as many of our local artists as possible, Gallery directors have turned  a small area into a  ‘special exhibitions’ room to three dimensional artists to display and sell their work.  There is also a space for guest artists and a gallery for solo exhibitions.  Arrangements may be made for tutors to conduct workshops of up to 8 students. Artists in all media are encouraged to work on site and those not permanently displayed in the Gallery may have a small number of works  on show which, if sold, will incur the same commission.

In order to involve the community, promote more artists and attract tourists to the Marina, public events are organised. Events will be organised every couple of months.

The media is advised of all activities and exhibitions and when desired, exhibiting artists and other parties  may use the venue for ‘openings’, fund raising or party functions.
